Grilling and barbecuing are some of the oldest cooking methods around. It’s simple. Light a fire and cook over it. Grilling is also a great American pastime, with hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and steaks dominating summertime get-togethers. Barbecuing is a different thing altogether. It’s indirect cooking at its core. However, in some parts of the south and southwest, it’s more. It’s a culture, a religion, a cult, a status symbol, and a style.
Here at Vanns, we love to grill. We live and work in that part of the country where we are really never to hot in the summer and never too cold in the winter to light up the grill and get cooking.
