Sage needs rocky areas to grow in order to achieve a special pleasing mellowness. We sell Dalmatian sage which grows along the Yugoslavian coast. The flavor is pungent and the aroma powerful but fragrant and never harsh. Nice for pork, meats, and stuffing.
