Peppercorns, Green (freeze dried)

Milder in flavor than white or black peppercorns, green peppercorns, which are the berry of the plant Piper Nigrum, are harvested before the peppercorns reach maturity. These peppercorns are then freeze dried, allowing them to be rehydrated later for use in soups, stocks and casseroles. May also be crushed easily and usable in a grinder.
