Decorticated Cardamom is the seeds within the pod of cardamom. This is a real time-saver versus cracking each pod and extracting the seeds. Simply grind the seeds in a spice grinder or use them whole. Cardamom has a grapefruit - like, floral flavor. It has a menthol undertone similar to ginger.
